Lutheran High School’s growth spurt

August 11, 2016
By Deidre Barnett, Admissions Director

Lutheran High School is excited to welcome a new group of students for the 2016–2017 school year.

The freshman class is at maximum capacity with a total of 75 students. LHS is also pleased to welcome ten new students in grades 10–12. This indicates a nearly 10% growth in just one year, as more students and families are learning about the amazing Christian education offered at Lutheran High School.

These new students are already involved in many areas of student life. Some participate in various athletics including tennis, soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, and cross country. Others are eagerly learning more about the theatre program, Saints on Stage, and preparing for the upcoming season. Still other new students are eager to participate in the Academic Competition Teams to strive for a second consecutive state championship.

Students are joining LHS from various association Lutheran schools as well as other private and public schools. Lutheran High School also welcomes international students, who have arrived from places across the globe. Students enjoy the smaller, family-type of environment at LHS.

Welcome aboard, new Saints!
