We encourage all students to get involved outside the classroom in a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Some of the opportunities include our fine Athletic program with sports competing in the Indiana Crossroads Conference at the Class A level of the IHSAA. The following sports are offered at LHSI:

There are also many other opportunities including:  Student Council, Forensics (Saints Speech Team), Academic Bowl Competitions, Civil Air Patrol, Chamber Choir (regular performances and a spring tour), Band (performances and tour as well), Theatre Department (Fall Drama and Spring Musical), and many more!

LHSI students are also very active in service activities, with 100% of students involved in service. Through a program called “Saints in Life or SNL”, students work in small groups to find ways to give back to their school, their community or the world. From mentoring grade school students, volunteering at local churches, or participating in community wide programs, each SNL group determines the cause or organization that is important to them and find time each week to serve others. In addition to SNL, students regularly participate in blood drives, canned food drives and building homes for Habitat for Humanity. LHSI students have built eight homes in the past four years!
