Student Involvement:

A majority of our students are invested in campus life which enhances their overall school experience, and results in improved academic performance. Lutheran High School encourages all students to get involved outside the classroom in a variety of activities.

Lutheran Athletics:

Lutheran High School is a member of the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) and competes in the Indiana Crossroads Conference: Beech Grove, Lapel, Park Tudor, Cardinal Ritter, Scecina Memorial, Speedway, and Triton Centeral.

The Arts at LHSI:

The visual and performing arts at Lutheran High School place a strong emphasis on encouraging students to use their God-given talents and abilities - and to develop these to their fullest. There are visual art classes, as well as AP classes furthering the understanding of design. Music opportunities include Chamber Choir (regular performances and a spring tour), Band (performances and tour as well), Men's / Woman's Choirs, Music Theory, Class Piano, and Guitar Ensemble. The Theatre Department presents a Fall Play, Winter Dessert Theatre and Spring Musical. The performances challenge students and allow them to learn about acting and technical theatre.

Activities:

There are many things for you to do including student led Bible Studies, Hoosier Spell Bowl, Academic Super Bowl, Forensics, Dances, and many more options during Activity Period.

LHSI students are also very active in service activities, with 100% of students involved in service.  From mentoring grade school students, volunteering at local churches, or participating in community wide programs, each student finds time to serve others. Students can also participate by Student Council, Chapel Assistant, RTV6 Toy Drive, Food Drives, Blood Drives, Spanish Club, Student Admission Ambassador, Civial Air Patrol, Prom Committe, and much more!
