Each year the Lutheran High School Theatre Department presents a fall play and a spring musical in the state of the art 450+ seat Ruth Lilly Auditorium. Fall play and spring musical challenge students in both comedy and drama and allow students to learn about acting and technical theatre.
The 2011 spring musical, "She Loves Me," will be presented April 14–17.
Less formally, students get the opportunity to use their dramatic skills to serve the school by assisting in chapel worship though use of skits, and students may take classes in theatre. In spring 2007, Lutheran High School inducted its first Thespian troupe, becoming a member of the International Thespian Society.
