We are thankful for your prayer and financial support for the student Saints at Lutheran High School of Indianapolis.
While the school receives most of its funding through tuition payments - we also are blessed with strong congregation support from the sixteen Association member churches and financial support from individuals, sponsors, and corporations.
We gladly accept checks (please make payable to LHSI or Lutheran High School) sent to us and also accept online gifts.
Click here to GIVE ONLINE to make a gift to the Fund for Lutheran High (be used where needed most); or to specifically help with Student Aid; or helping us reduce our debt. Simply choose your preference when prompted with a drop-down arrow.
If you are interested in helping us purchase some of the things on our 'wish list,' simply follow this link and choose the area you want to support. Our wish list items are typically items that we have not been able to include in our annual budget, but would help us either in the classroom or around the school.
We are grateful and appreciate all the prayer and financial support we receive at Lutheran High.
Planned Giving Options:
-
Include Lutheran High School in your will: I give (__%) ($___) of my estate to the Greater Indianapolis Association for Lutheran Secondary Education, Inc., 5555 S Arlington Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46237; to provide funding (for the purpose of ____) (for the programs as determined by the Board of Directors.)
-
Give an appreciated asset, like stock or a mutual fund, directly to the school. We will sell the stock immediately and benefit from the gift. Your gift of appreciated stock saves you capital gains and provides a charitable tax deduction. Email the Development office for instructions on how to give stock or a mutual fund. For more information about giving an appreciated asset, please click here.
-
Purchase a Charitable Gift Annuity-These financial instruments pay you for the rest of your life at a competitive rate of interest plus give you a charitable deduction when the investment is made. At your death, the balance goes to your favorite ministry.
-
Change or include Lutheran as a beneficiary on your life insurance, annuity, certificate of deposit, or other investment so that either the whole amount or a percentage can go directly to ministry and bypass probate.
-
Purchase a life insurance policy and immediately give ownership to the school. This allows you to leverage a relatively small amount of money into a larger gift. By giving the policy to Lutheran High School, your premiums are paid as donations to the school (and are tax deductible) that the school uses to pay the insurance company.
-
Talk to your estate planning advisors (attorney, accountant, and insurance representative) about other ways that you might transfer the blessings the Lord has given you to your children and the ministries close to your heart.
