Lutheran SGO (Lutheran Scholarship Granting Organization)
The Lutheran Scholarship Granting Organization of Indiana, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, created to help ensure that all eligible families in Indiana have the opportunity to attend a Lutheran school. Your donation made to the Lutheran SGO and designated for Lutheran High School of Indianapolis will be applied directly to the cost of tuition for incoming or existing students who qualify.
Your Donor Impact
Donors that are Indiana residents or Indiana businesses are eligible to take a 50 percent tax credit against their Indiana state tax liability for their contribution to the Lutheran SGO in the name of Lutheran High School of Indianapolis. In addition to the 50% state tax credit eligibility, gifts are also tax-deductible to the full extent of the federal charitable tax laws. Depending on your tax bracket, your true cost of donating may be as little as 20% of your donation.
Please hurry, Indiana tax credits are limited
Please note, that contributions made later in the state’s fiscal year are more likely to be subject to a maximum cap for Indiana state tax credits. To learn how much has been donated state-wide for this year, you can visit http://www.in.gov/dor/4305.htm.
