John, His Story is a dynamic and delightfully lyrical play which offers a contemporary view of miracles recorded in the Gospel of John. A cast of six tells us the story of 25 ordinary people – disciples, beggars, the wealthy, wedding guests, and many more who were touched in some way by the seven great signs of Jesus. The drama of the story and the comedy of the celebrations are astutely woven together to make a poignant portrayal of the works of Christ.
The play leaves the audience not just exhilarated and fulfilled, but also with a feeling of spiritual gain that could only come by seeing something of the light that shines in darkness – Jesus himself.
