A majority of our students are invested in campus life which enhances their overall school experience, and results in improved academic performance. Lutheran High School encourages all students to get involved outside the classroom in a variety of activities.
The Arts at LHS
The visual and performing arts at Lutheran High School place a strong emphasis on encouraging students to use their God-given talents and abilities – and to develop these to their fullest. There are visual art classes, as well as AP classes furthering the understanding of design. Student art is displayed at the school and in other venues. Music opportunities include Chamber Choir (regular performances and a spring tour), Band (performances and tour as well), Vocal Ensemble, Praise Band, Music Theory, and Piano class. Saints On Stage (LHS Theatre) present a Fall Play and Spring Musical and more. The performances challenge students and allow them to learn about acting and technical theatre.
Student Groups, Clubs, and Activities
There are many things for you to do including student led Bible Studies, Hoosier Spell Bowl, Academic Super Bowl, National Honor Society, and dances, as well as many more options during Activity Period.
Students may also participate in Student Council, Spanish Club, Student Admission Ambassadors, Civil Air Patrol, Prom Committee, VEX Robotics Club, Yearbook class, and much more!
More than 95% of the student body is involved in at least one activity – what will be yours?
