Giving Opportunity – Lutheran SGO

The Lutheran Scholarship Granting Organization of Indiana (LSGO) works hand in hand with Lutheran schools to help ensure that all eligible children in Indiana have the opportunity to attend the Lutheran school of their choice.

Lutheran High School recognizes the critical importance of a central Indiana Lutheran partnership to help raise funds to support enrollment growth and Christian outreach to families in central Indiana. Our mission and ministry are the same as our Lutheran elementary schools. To help grow funds for central Indiana Lutheran education, a new LuFest opportunity was made available at LuFest 2019.

Supporters of LHS are encouraged to establish a recurring monthly donation to the LSGO of $25, $50, $100, or some other amount, until directed to stop; or to make a one-time donation. Our supporters are further encouraged to divide the donation between Lutheran High School and a Lutheran elementary school partner. We are all stronger together.

To donate to the LSGO, visit go.lutheransgo.org/schools/22/landing; for more information, visit LutheranSGO.org or call 260-203-4509.

Your Donor Impact

Donors that are Indiana residents or Indiana businesses are eligible to take a 50 percent tax credit against their Indiana state tax liability for their contribution to the Lutheran SGO in the name of Lutheran High School of Indianapolis. In addition to the 50% state tax credit eligibility, gifts are also tax-deductible to the full extent of the federal charitable tax laws. Depending on your tax bracket, your true cost of donating may be as little as 20% of your donation.

Please hurry, Indiana tax credits are limited

Please note, that contributions made later in the state’s fiscal year are more likely to be subject to a maximum cap for Indiana state tax credits. To learn how much has been donated state-wide for this year, you can visit http://www.in.gov/dor/4305.htm.
