SALVALTORE AND MARJORIE GIOE

Mr. Gioe served on numerous boards and committees for St. John Lutheran Church, was a dedicated Bible class teacher, and served as the Sunday School Superintendent at St. John for many years. He was also instrumental in the founding of Lutheran High School of Indianapolis. Mrs. Gioe had a gift for ministering to the elderly, supported her husband in his work, and brought up her family to recognize Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

The children of Mr. and Mrs. Gioe are grateful for the many blessings God has bestowed on them and their parents. They are indebted to their parents for bringing them to the Lord and pray that through this scholarship more workers for the Lord’s Kingdom will be trained to preach and teach the saving love of Jesus.
