Winter Cheerleading

Dear Prospective Athlete and Parents,

Thank you for your interest in Lutheran High School Cheerleading! Our program is among the most active and visible groups at LHS as we cheer, dance, stunt and tumble on the sidelines and during timeouts at football and basketball games. We also cover the school halls with spirited banners, lead pep sessions, and act as Christ-like examples within the community. Some of our cheerleaders' favorite events each year include: cheer camp at a state university over the summer, team events such as our annual trip to SkyZone Trampoline Park, service events including our Christmas party and performance at a local nursing home, and our IHSAA conference cheerleading competition.

The purpose of the Lutheran High School Cheerleading Program is to create school spirit, develop responsibility, teach self-respect, encourage honest effort, and develop character all while maintaining a Christ-centered environment. We believe that our role within the school and local community is a blessing and a privilege. We look forward to continuing our mission and growing our cheer family! Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the program. I would love to meet you!

Blessings,
